Its engineering team is constantly developing new solutions, increasingly efficient and effective allowing us to be at the forefront of innovation in karting. Praga España Motor Sport has its head office in Gandía, Valencia, Spain.
Our main objective is to prepare new champions in the kart world.
We have schools in various parts of Spain. Our school in Valencia is located at Cheste circuit, renown for celebrating events such as the MotoGP world championship.
The Praga Kart team support and help our drivers giving them guidance along all their stages.
Since its opening on the 19th of September 1999, the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo has become an emblematic space. A commitment to sport, placing the region of Valencia as a reference point in the world of motorsports.
Throughout its history, this circuit has received numerous awards, placing it among the best circuits on the current scene. It has been awarded on different occasions as the best race organisers for the most important motorsport competitions: three prizes in Motorcycle World Championship (IRTA BEST GRAND PRIX in 2003, 2004 and 2006), two in the organisation of the Superbike World Championship (2000 and 2006) and one for the best Truck GP in 2001.
“A circuit inside a stadium” describes the way in which this circuit has been conceived. It is built in order that spectators may fully contemplate the development of the race. Stands containing 65.000 seats from which to view the entire layout, a feature therefore, that allows you to follow the races without losing sight of what is happening on the track.
The Circuit Ricardo Tormo has the first Motorsports Technification Center in Europe. In 2017 it was classified as a high-performance center by the Spanish Higher Sports Council (Consejo General de Deportes). In 2018 this centre began its programme with racing drivers.
Fórmula de Campeones is a school for racing drivers which belongs to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo. Since its inception, it works with a team of drivers who have managed to reach Formula 1 and other important victories in motorsport. Among others, the school has been attended by Roberto Merhi, Carmen Jordá, Álvaro Barba, Adrián Vallés, Marco Barba, Borja García, Lucas Guerrero, Nerea Martí, José Manuel Pérez Aicart, Arturo Llobell, Germán Sanchez and Adrián Campos Jr.
In the season 2020, Fórmula de Campeones has drivers competing in the Spanish Karting Championship (CEK) and in the European championship. The school, together with Praga España form the team known as Formula de Campeones – Praga, which is currently competing in the Spanish F4.
With Marco Rodríguez as Team Principal, the school has garnered titles in multiple championships and categories throughout its history.
